Alright...1st class: Structure of Military.

Most Shinobi villages share the same structure of teh military. On the top is the Kage, the head fo the military. below him is the council, a small group fo the oldest at he village (not in this RP site). Next are the ANBU. ANBU are seperated into 2 classes:

Raider: Raids ohter villages

Gatekeeper: protects the village.

BOth have different units in the group. (this si based on TNR)

Raiders:
ANBU leader: no duh
ANBU member: the regular soldier, kill kill kill, that's pretty much it
Field Medic: A shinobi who can fight as well as heal minor wounds. larger wounds are left to medics outside the battle area
Medic: generalyl lightly armed but experienced medics who can heal major wounds
Scout: Genin who scout out the are beofre attack.

Gatekeepers, being hte home guard, need no medics or scouts, adn therefore get less rpestige.

Below the ANBU is the regular Shinobi army and the semi-shinobi, as well as teh commoner army, an army made of soldeirs who have semi-shinobi training, but cannot use handseals. Semi-Shinobi are bloodline-wielding soldiers who cannot use handseals yet can use tehir bloodline's abilities.

alright, back to history.

A long tiem ago in a galaxy not-too far away...actually, ti's exactly where we are...well, screw that. Obviously, cavemen, bla bla bla. warlords, feudal era, bla bla bla. tehn there were people who found they had abilities--abilities considered by many unnatural. Many of these were accused of witchcraft and these chakra-sensitive people slunk into the shadows of history, yada yada. well, at some point, their role changed. form the ones needing protection, these became the protectors. many groups were formed, but this was also the first appearance of demons. The chakra-sensitive splite into many factions, most notably the Shinobi nad the Samurai. The Samurai believed in honor--Bushido. Teh Shinobi were a anethisis to this way of life. so they clashed. it is unknown who attacked first , but eventually teh samurai were defeated, nad the feudal lords left to puppets governments controlled by the Kage. However, msot of the Kage were not evil. At the same tiem, the Shinobi countries easily swallowed up lesser nonshinobi countries, therefore forming the coutnreis today.

ALright...hsitory Chapter 2: the great Shinobi wars

As each nonshinobi coutry wrapped themselves in alliances with larger Shinobi countries, a small, unkonw incident casued the alliances to descend on each other in wrath. this was the first of the Great Shinobi wars. There were approximately 3 sides--Cloud and stone versus Konoha and waterfall. At this time, Sand and Snow (under the Kazahana) were neutral. Cloud and Stone proved victorious, and Konoha and Waterfall entered an economic depression. The first Hokage managed to finally return Konoha to its previous state, laying the bitterness and seed for the next war.

The next war was now worldwide. Sand and its new Ally Konoha and Waterfall campaigned against Cloud, Stone, Grass and Rain. As Snow watched with increasing tenacity, the village of the Star joined Konoha and the village fo the dragonfly joined Stone. While Rain stood by Stone, Mist soon declared war on Stone. teh Kaguyas simply enjoyed the battles. The war spread across the oceans as well. In the Eastern Continents, (the TNR galaxy), Glacier, Frost, Current, shine and shroud declared war on Konoki and Silence, the two largest villages (as well the lesser vilalges of wind nad smoke). Glacier stood with Stone adn Konoki wtih Konoha, close relatives. In the Western teater, Konoha was victorious, wiping out Stone nad badly weakening the vilalge fo the dragonfly. In the East, Konoki and Silence beat Current and Shine into submission whiel Glacier watched tentatively. Another uneasy peace continued.

By the third great Shinobi wars, Teh 3rd Hokage, Sarutobi, now was mroe active. teh same alliances continued, but now villages were destroyed. The vilalge of teh dragonfly was absorbed by Cloud after its defeat by Konoha. Teh village of Smoke was absorbed into Konoki adn Wind into silence. Glaicer and Frost Joined together into Glacier, and great jumps in technology were made. Under a group fo Scinetists, MysTech (formerly under Cloud whe n iwas Kage) began investigating steam power, and now Steam Airships struggeld wti hteh coutnry fo Snow's Blimps. Just as both sides were about to release their sealed demons, a cease fire occured between Cloud nad Konoha, and eventulaly, msot fighting died down (ths iwas almsot averted with the Hyuuga incident, but it was rejected). Cloud, Glacier, Silence, Konoki, Konoha nad Sand remained the world powers. However, Sands' Economy was ruined, and Cloud was now divided, with a new unstead yKage at hte helm (me, hehehe). Cloud weakened, and the Konoha Massacre weakened Konoha greatly.

The most recent minor war, the secret SHinobi wars, was fouhgt between the 4th Hokage, Arashi/Kazuya Uzumaki against the village of Stone, under (someone...I'll remember eventually). This was a victory for Konoha, and proved to the people that evne without the Uchiha, Konoha was still a world pwer.

200 years after those wars, the 7th Hokage, Konohamaru Sarutobi died, and was replaced by konaru. The Uchiha clan has been revived, as has been the kaguya clan. Itachi, now a folk hero/villain, is seen as a hero (for what reasons I fail to understand) I, as Kage of Cloud, retired adn gathered together the remnants of the Quincy, Bount and Arrancar. Sound has been revived, though somewhat under the eye of Konoha. Snow is now a world power, while the vilalge of hte Lotus, nwo the head fo MysTech, struggels to outmaneuver Snow with its technology. Sand has slowly faded into teh background, while across teh continent, Glacier, Silence and Konoki glare at each other in mutual distrust.
