Chapter 1: demon emergence

Ever since the beginning of death, the dead go to the afterlife, and the souls of the afterlife re-enter the world--a never-ending cycle. every single one of us are the reincarnations of someone, although you may not remmeber, you are the same soul. However, Occasionally, a soul with great sadness or Anger will remain as a soul, and become a slave to his/her feelings--a hollow. tehse attack humans, usign them as fuel to survive. At the same teim, teh afterlife, SOul Society, ahs its own governemtn--Gotei 13. serving under hte king of Soul SOciety (it DOES exist--nobody ahs seen the royal family, though the Quincy believe it is Jesus), there are 13 protection Squads, to purify these Hollows adn sending regular souls to the afterlife. These soldiers of the afterlife are known as Shinigami (death god in Japanese) who are known for their Black Hakama. none of this can be seen by people, other than a gifted few, who can either see or hear demons (to a certain extent). However, a neww breed of hollow appeared--one withotu massks or holes--Demons. Nobody is sure when they became visible, but they have. Tehre are people who have trainied or are born with the bloodline or ablilty to defeat demons--most notabley the Quincy. They evolved to fight this new breed. However, most of these demons were weak or minor. However, the tailed beasts are an exception. A creature of pure malice, each of the 9 beasts live to Kill. due to their concnectration, tehy have more power than most shinigami as well as humans, and can probably take on a captain-leved Shinigami (of whihc there are only 13 at once). These do not seem to need sustainance, and they run rampant, destroying all tehy see. many efforts were made to destroy them, and some were, indeed destroye,d leavning the rmainign 9. others were sealed into people who would control it. However, evne the possessed had soem traits--an aversion to society, a certain aloofness. now these demons haver run rampant. this is where my lesson begins.

Chapter 2: Anomalies and combat

However, not all hollows/demons stay evil forever. A hollow who removes his masks becomes an Arrancar (Spanish for "to rip off") and regains all of his humans sesnses and usually hte looks.

Demons may also take on human characteristics. whoever, a demon cannot fully become a pure wsoul, as being such would reverse a demon and return it to its original soul.

Hollows have some basic combat skills. the first is the cero (Spanish for Zero) blast. this fires a concentrated beam that destroys anything it touches. this is generally extremely fast.Another is the Negacion beam--a beam that seperates part of a dimension from antoher nad brinign ti to Hueco Mundo, the spiritual home of demons. Hollows are generally easy to dispatch, but hitting the mask will reveal the human inside--NOT SUGGESTED.

A tailed demon is much mroe challenging. due to its almost-spiritual content, it is almsot immune to solids and Taijutsu. Genjutsu ahs little affect, leaving only Ninjutsu. Most of hte ones pwoerful to defeat one are sealed or forbidden, meaning onely Kage stand a chance. hwoever, even Kage may lose, as shown in Yondaime's Banzai Charge that resulted in mutual "death". a whole army is usually needed to subude one, nad even MysTech's CHakra Cannon V1 would need 10 consecutive hits to fully destroy one.

WAYS TO FIGHT

-Shinigami are few and sparse, and willarrive only slowly. don't jsut rely on hoping for help. have some strong Jutsu or high speed to run.
-do not engage unless you HAVE TO.

RACES WHO CAN DEFEAT HOLLOWS AND DEMONS:

Shinigami: no duh. Servants of Soul Society, these all possess a unique weapon called a Zanpakuto (soul Slayer). this is almost always a sword in sealed form, but cna release its power. each sword has its own soul.

Quincy: a European group in origin, The Quincy used to be widespeead in England, Germany, China and Austria. Unlike the Shinigami, who rely on swords, teh Quincy's weapon of Choice is a long-range weapon, usually a bow, sometimes a crossbow. The Quincy have the power to gather Spirit particles to make bows out of Spirit energy that cna destroy one's soul. Formerly, this would destroy permanently destroy a soul, preventing reincarnation, but now they can purify. The Quincy are now onyl a remnant, but are growing.

Demon Slayers: mercenaries who are paid to destroy Demons. their methods vary
